One of the most popular sweets during any Persian celebration specially weddings and Nowruz. Marzipan has a rich and fascinating history. The origin of Marzipan goes back to Middle East, specifically Persia. It is believed that Marzipan was introduced by Arab traders, through out the years, Marzipan traveled to Europe and became very popular in Spain and Italy.
