Chocolate Fudge Brownies

I’m personally not a big fan of them, but once a year around holidays, I make a batch of them to share with friends. This recipe makes the best flavor and texture brownies. While the top crust is dry & cracked, underneath they’re sweet, moist and chewy. This batter comes together in no time and most likely you already have all the ingredients….so lets get started:

Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Yields: 9-12 pieces                                Bake time: 30 minutes

  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1. Preheat your oven to 350 F (175 C)
2. Grease a square baking pan with shallow depth
3. In a medium size bowl and using a whisk, mix in the melted butter with eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder & baking powder & Slowly add to the batter
5. Pour the batter in the baking pan and place the pan in the oven & bake for 25-30 minutes

Notes: It’s optional to add nuts to the brownies , if you like to add nuts, just add 1/2 cup walnuts to the batter before pouring it in the pan.
