Pistachio Orange Scones

 I've been blessed that I've had great friends in my life to walk beside me. Today one of my dear friend is coming here for breakfast and I've decided to make this scone for her.


  • Flour 120 grams, one empty cup
  • Sugar 15 grams, one full tablespoon
  • Baking soda 6 grams, 1 &1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter, cold 30 grams ,2 tbsp
  • Pistachio 10 grams/one full tbsp
  • Orange zest 1 teaspoon
  • Cream 67 grams,1/3 cup
  • Eggs 13 grams,1 small egg
  • Honey 9 gram,1 tbsp


1.Turn on the oven to 350 and have one baking sheet with parchment paper ready
2.Combine the cream, honey and egg and put aside
3.Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and zest in a mixing bowl
4.Cut the butter (cut square pieces) into the flour mix until the butter is the size of peas, add pistachio and mix to distribute evenly
5.Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a round shape
6.cut out shaped as desire
7.Brush with egg wash and garnish with sanding sugar
8.Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
